Police have launched a sexual assault investigation after a man touched a woman at a bus stop in Saltburn.
The incident happened on Wednesday, November 1 between 2pm and 3pm when a woman aged in her thirties was waiting for a bus outside of Boots.
A man approached the woman and stroked her arm and face before asking her questions about where she lives.
He made off when a bystander approached him.
The man is described as a white male, around 30 years old, 5ft 4” tall, with dark brown hair which was cut short on the back and sides.
He was wearing a blue jumper with a white polo shirt underneath and blue jeans.

He is described as looking nervous and extremely alert.
Anyone who may have information regarding the incident or may have witnessed the male is asked to contact PC Elliot Taylor on 101, quoting incident reference SE23217525.
